Cameco Capitol Arts Centre The Capitol Theatre: located in Port Hope is Canada’s only operating “atmospheric theatre” where the interior of the theatre gives patrons the illusion of sitting in an outdoor medieval courtyard, under a blue twilight sky. The Egyptian motif clearly indicates that the design came from and Egyptian-style atmospheric theatre.
The Northumberland Players Northumberland Players, the county’s premier not-for-profit amateur theatre company, brings the best in musicals, comedies and drama to theatre lovers. Presently offering the community three dinner theatre productions involving both comedic and dramatic presentations, as well as major musical presentations each winter.
